Notes:  As dusk is falling, we quickly check into our hotel and continue up the hill to our chosen spot. The crescent moon sets as we set up our cameras. The glow on the horizon is the remnant of the setting sun. Note the wispy cloud formations above the horizon. These iridescent lights are called noctilucent clouds and are thought to be ice crystals 60 to 80 miles above the earth catching the last of the light as the sun is setting. The light on the horizon is a fishing boat on the lake.
